    Overview

Mathematical structure discovered in nature has been at core in understanding of physical phenomena. On the other hand, the research on machine learning has been evolving explosively in recent years under advances in computer science, while the connection of the machine learning to physics is yet sporadic. New area, "Foundation of "Machine Learning Physics" --- Revolutionary Transformation of Fundamental Physics by A New Field Integrating Machine Learning and Physics" established in 2022 by MEXT, Japan, aims to integrate these two major fields, physics and machine learning. The research area aims bidirectionally to expand the understanding of nature using ML on one hand and to develop ML using concepts in physics on the other hand. At this conference, we wish to create a fusion among researchers of the two disciplines, following the success of the previous conference MLPhys 2023.

    Information

    Venue and Access

The conference will be held at Jichikaikan Hall in Naha, the capital city of Okinawa, Japan. Naha is a compact, walkable seaside city that combines modern urban life with the rich history and culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Okinawa is famous for its subtropical climate, beautiful beaches, coral reefs, and unique local cuisine—making it an ideal place for intensive discussions as well as relaxation after the sessions.

The venue is conveniently located in central Naha with easy access to restaurants, shops, and major hotels. Many accommodations are within walking distance of Asahibashi Station and the conference hall.

    Why Okinawa?

Surrounded by the blue waters of the East China Sea, Okinawa has long been a crossroads of cultures. Its open atmosphere and natural beauty provide an inspiring setting for scientific exchange and creative thinking.

Beyond the conference sessions, participants may explore historic sites such as Shuri Castle, enjoy Okinawan cuisine, or simply experience the relaxed island environment that makes this region unique within Japan.

We hope that the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere of Okinawa will foster new ideas, deepen discussions, and encourage lasting collaborations.

    Access from Naha Airport (OKA)

The most convenient and strongly recommended way to reach the venue from Naha Airport is by the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail). It is fast, reliable, and avoids traffic congestion.

The total travel time from the airport is typically 20–25 minutes. Trains operate approximately every 10 minutes during the daytime.

    Alternative options:
